I'm not sure why, but I never wore dresses very regularly until the last couple of summers. I mean, for fancy occasions of course I usually wore a dress, but for everyday (warm weather) wear, I didn't really own many. But the last few years, I've been picking up a dress here & there and now have quite a few that I love to wear in the summer. Makes getting dressed for church easier too! Just throw on a dress, grab a sweater and a hat and I can get out the door way faster. (which I'm sure makes my family happier haha)

floral, green, blue, turquoise, polka dot
And in total, you could buy all of these dresses for $130 CAD. Which to me, is a total win because they definitely don't look that inexpensive!! Man, I love me some Forever 21 :)

Hope you're having a great week!

Crossed almost everything off my to-do list to day and boy does it feel good!! I even had some extra time to play around with my fonts again and I have some news to share!

I was recently invited to join Creative Market, a super cool place to find graphics and templates and fonts and little design bits & bobs. I could spend hours browsing around all the incredible work that's on there - and some of it is even offered free every week! I knew this was a site I would be thrilled to work with, and am proud to announce that 2 of my fonts are now on there! There's a couple more slated for the coming week, but I couldn't wait to share this with you!!

BD Paris & BD Paris Bold are two sister fonts, one more delicate and one a little more daring. They are both handwritten (by me!) and I love them both! Up next is a skinny sans-serif that has a classic feel. So excited!

In other exciting news,

I've been working on a new site for my design work!! This is long long overdue and I've been puttering away at it for a few months now and it's time to announce it so I get my butt in gear and finish it up! haha Hopefully by June 1 I'll have a brand new site to show you! (Gallery No 8 isn't going anywhere, the new site is just for my design work)

I think that's all the exciting news I have for you today haha Hope you're having a truly lovely week!

Confession: I am still in long weekend mode. Today was completely unproductive and work is starting to backlog so tomorrow is going to be not-so-fun.

Wish I had a a couple of these beauties to stare at while I worked - would make working just that much more fun :)

Be a Nice Human by ohmydeer
Essie Nail Polish print by Laura Trevey
Watercolour Ampersand by Chloe Vaux
Herb Print by Lucile's Kitchen
I'm still obsessed with that ampersand print and those herbs would be just perfect in a kitchen!

What are you obsessed with lately?

Why hello there! I've been enjoying an extra long weekend (took Friday off too) and it has been lovely! Spent some time with my BFF and helped fix up our backyard - some fun plans in the works back  there!

And since it would be no fun to just tell you what I did, I've got some photos to show too!

Lilac tree & forget-me-nots
Adorable mini lanterns from Target (you can see them along the top of the photo above as well)
The beginnings of my little herb garden! Mint, rosemary, basil & chives.
How I started my Friday morning - 7:30am in Starbucks haha
What I wore on my nails this weekend - Butter London Thames, Nails Inc Warwick Way, & Forever 21 'Teal'
And the nails! These were so super glittery and fun! I redid my nails this evening and I kind of miss the glitter...
Shopping in Party City for camp with the BFF. If only I could get away with wearing that sombrero to church...

How did you spend your long weekend?

B
